Life raising 4 children & sacrifice
69Rasing 4 children & sacrifice
Rasing 4 small children isn't easy. Most certianly, it's not cheap either. Over the past years, saving and money has been a big issue for me. Most of the years, after my youngest was born, I had been a single mom and raising the girls on my own (a whole lot of love and support from my parents of course)!
I had to learn some really cheap ways to rasing them, cutting corners, and even so much as trading things that they or I no longer needed!
I came to the conclusion I had to do something to save more money. My ex didn't pay child support and it was all I could do to afford diapers, food and clothing for them. The only conclusion I had came up with was research on the internet.
After doing much searching, I'd found many things on the internet to help me with loads of savings. My research had found that certain Grocery stores had baby clubs and offered many different ways to save and free things. Publix offered many coupons and a pre school program where they send stuff to this very day. I'm not on the Free Programs they have, my children are though. They send them things like computer games, birthday cards, coupons for food comes with each thing. The coupons of course I use, but they enjoy the little gifts that are included for them. It always brightens their day.
Winn-Dixie also offers free things for parents to be, and you have instant savings in the store, more than what's listed for baby items on the price tag!
There are a whole lot of FREE birthday clubs out there too! Toys-R-Us to name one. My second child got a gift card and a birthday card in the mail. It came with a slip and said, bring to cusomer service counter for a Birthday Surprise! They handed her a crown, a balloon & then when we were walking around in the store, they announced that it was her Birthday to the whole store! She turned really red, but smiled all the same! She didn't have a limit with the gift card, and she used it and ended up with a $5 stuffed kitten...not having to spend an extra cent.
So, she got to go shopping, got her Birthday present, a balloon, a crown and her name announced to the whole store, and all it cost me was the gas to drive there and a little time with her!
Sacrifice? Maybe what time it took for the research and gas was all the sacrifice I had. But in the end, it's all worth it, saves money and they are very happy little girls. I find all sorts of FREE things online for them and when they arrive, they have more fun with that than having to go out and spend all sorts of money, not having anything like most children. Including the FREE clothes that each of them, over the years, have gotten from these things.
Raising these four little girls isn't as difficult as some may think. It's really more time consuming, but never a dull moment!

I've been raising my four little girls alone for three years now they are now 3,5,7,&9. And I agree that any time they can be singled out as special is very special to them. Bieng a man I did'mt know much about being a little girl butt they have tought me that. If anyone finds them selfs in a similer situation remember little girls feeling are very fragile and all your hard work will pay off
